He is UK Living Building Challenge Ambassador, Strategic Advisor to Living Futures Institute Europe and Vice Chair of RESTORE an EU Cost Action (REthinking Sustainability TOwards a Regenerative Economy) driving real change within sustainability thinking and practice.
An industry influencer, as an experienced blogger, he comments, speaks and presents on built environment sustainability issues, contributes to a number of media sources and is a regular presenter and speaker. Martin is ranked as a top 100 influencer in addressing Modern Slavery in the UK and regularly features highly in CSR and Sustainability influencer rankings. In 2018 he was awarded a Living Hero status with the International Living Futures Institute.
Prior to founding the Fairsnape consultancy he was a Project Manager and Business Improvement Manager within the UK and International major contracting and facilities management sector. Through Constructing Excellence, Martin champions industry collaborative initiatives and is Chair of Constructing Excellence Lancashire. Martin is a co-founder of ConstructCO2 (online construction carbon tool) and previous Chair and Fellow of the Benchmarking Institute.

DR. EMANUELE NABONI (BArch, MArch, MPhil, PhD in Architectural design, LEED AP, Licensed Architect) is, since 2010, Associate Professor at the Institute of Architectural Design and Technology of the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, School of Architecture (KADK). He teaches and researchers in the field of Sustainable Environmental Design at different scales: Urban, Buildings and Components with a focus on linking Ecosystems and Humans via Design. Emanuele was an invited Professor at the faculty of Architecture of EPFL Lausanne (2016/17) and the South East University in Nanjing (2017), he was invited Professor at the University of California Berkeley at the College of Environmental Design (2013). He was Visiting Teacher at the Architectural Association in London (2013) and the Faculty of Architecture of Nottingham University (2014). He was a researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) (2010 and 11). In 2006, he was awarded a PhD from Politecnico di Milano in Architectural Design, spending a period of 3 years at the University of California, Berkeley.
Emanuele worked for years in the field environmental design contributing worldwide too, master plans of cities, building design and interior/component designs. He sketches, draws and computationally model sustainable architectural designs. He consulted foremost international architectural offices including BIG, William McDonough and Mario Cucinella Architects. He designed façade types for various manufacturers that are now in the market. He consulted Autodesk for the development of Design Tools for Environmental Design. Previously Emanuele was a design architect at the “Performance Design Studio” of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP in San Francisco for a number of years. He won several architectural design competitions. His projects were published in magazines such as DETAIL, Architectural Record, Domus.
He is one of the principal proposers and leader of the running EU COST RESTORE: REthinking Sustainability TOwards a RegenerativeDesign (2016) with focus on connecting regional, urban and indoor scales, and the EU COST SHELD-ON that focus on Smart Habitat for an Elderly Society (2017). He is also a member of the EU BeInterBaltic, a project for the exploitation of Interdisciplinary Design Research and Teaching. He is in the scientific committee of several other conferences including PLEA, CISBAT and IBPSA. He is a reviewer of the highly ranked Journals such as Energy and Buildings, the Journal of the Built Environment, and others. He is the author of several publications related to Environmental Design, including the book “Green Buildings Pay” for Routledge (2012) and contributions to RIBA Publications and DETAIL. He is currently contracted with Taylor and Francis, London, for the book “Tools for Environmental Design”.

KĘSTUTIS SADAUSKAS is a Lithuanian national. He holds Master degrees from Vilnius University in Political Science/International Relations and Geography.
From 1993 until 2006 he worked at the Lithuanian Foreign Service on multilateral issues. In September 2006 Kęstutis Sadauskas was appointed Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Vilnius.
From April 2010 until October 2014 he was Head of the Cabinet of Commissioner Algirdas Šemeta responsible for Taxation, Customs, Anti-fraud, Audit, and Statistics.
From November 2014 Kęstutis Sadauskas has been the Director for Circular Economy and Green Growth at the DG Environment of the European Commission.
MINDAUGAS KULBOKAS, being a Head of Research and Analysis, is responsible for the RE activities monitoring in Baltics and client consulting. During more than ten years of work in Commercial Real Estate field his leading team has done more than 150 consultancy projects in different segments of Real Estate Market. Mindaugas has extensive international experience in concept planning, asset strategic plan, infrastructure planning, highest and best use analysis, feasibility studies, economic-financial analysis and project coordination. Mindaugas is a certified financial broker.

CAMILLE FABRE is an engineer by training – she holds an MSc in Materials Sciences and Chemistry, and Intrapreneur by nature.

After a first experience as environmental analyst at AkzoNobel UK, Camille started her career at Saint-Gobain by working on the Group sustainable innovation program called Eco-Innovation.
She has then been more broadly involved in the international development and deployment of the Saint-Gobain Group’s Sustainable Habitat strategy, as Coordinator first and Sustainable Habitat Manager then.
In September 2016, she has been offered the opportunity to take responsibility for the deployment of this strategy in the Nordic & Baltic region.
She is currently working there as Sustainability Director of the Saint-Gobain Group in the Nordic & Baltic region.
Technical Marketing Manager, Nichia Europe
XAVIER DENIS is currently Technical Marketing Manager at NICHIA. He is responsible of the European engineering team focusing on translation of customers’ technical requirements into product features. Prior to joining Nichia, he had various management roles in the lighting and optical industries, and served as Systems Manager at GE LIGHTING, Chief Operating Officer of a French optical finishing laboratory, and as Asia-Pacific Representative and Technical Manager at OPTIS Japan. Xavier graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a diploma in Applied Physics and he is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Corvinus University of Budapest.
LEVAN EKHVAIA is responsible for National and International auditing and certification of the various building projects at The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V.). He has Master of Science, “Construction and Real Estate management” Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin (HTW) and Metropolia University Helsinki and Dipl. DAVID HUBKA upon graduation worked for nine years as an HVAC Engineer designing mechanical systems for commercial buildings. The last 10+ years he has worked specifically on LEED / sustainable building projects. His day-to-day job duties include quality control, customer relations, project oversight, and facilitation of sustainable building educational sessions. In addition to his full-time job David is a 4-time published author who has taught over 3,000 industry professionals throughout the world how to design, build and operate sustainable buildings with respect to the various LEED rating systems.

Sales Director, Soli Tek Cells
JULIJA KALADŽINSKAITĖ graduated in Master of International Marketing in 2010 and started her sales career at the high-tech manufacturing company BOD Group (pre-recorded CD, DVD, Blu-ray optical discs). As a group of companies entered new business direction of solar cell and module manufacturing, in 2013, under SoliTek brand, Julija became the first sales representative of solar modules in the company and also has been focusing on building integrated projects.
From 2016 Julija is the sales director at SoliTek, and has directly contributed to the development and implementation of the company’s sales strategy. In 2017, SoliTek revenue totaled €10 Million, each year increasing product volumes at least twice. 90% of solar modules are exported to 24 European countries.
Together with her team, Julija also shapes the company’s future vision in the green building market. At present, her main focus is on new BIPV solutions development and cooperation with construction market experts.

ARTŪRAS KRIUKOVAS has a PhD in Technical sciences. He works for JUNG Vilnius since 2005. Artūras is certified KNX Tutor 2013, managing director of „JUNG Academy Eastern Europe“.
EUGENIJUS ŠAPEL, moderator of this conference, is a Sustainability Manager at Vesta Consulting, WELL AP, LEED Green Rater, LEED Energy Rater. He is one of the co-organizers of ‘Green building – Vilnius’ international conference. Currently Eugenijus is responsible for Real Estate certification to WELL and LEED standards as well as development of Vesta House: sustainable residential building projects throughout all the life cycle stages (www.vestahouse.lt/en). He is the first WELL AP in the Baltics and holder of national LPTVS certificate.
Eugenijus has Bachelor of Structural Design and Management from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and BEng Honours degree in European Construction Engineering from Coventry University. In 2012 he was a recipient of a prestigious Baltic American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) scholarship and did an internship at sustainable development company PLACE in Minneapolis, US. In 2017 Eugenijus and his team won REgeneration design competition in Italy, based on Living Building Challenge standard. Eugenijus constantly deepens his sustainable building knowledge through Green Building Professional program, various seminars and International Conferences.
